About us

Anglesey Airport is owned and operated by the Isle of Anglesey County Council. Funding for the Cardiff to Anglesey air service, including the operation of Anglesey Airport, is provided by the Welsh Assembly Government through a system called a Public Service Obligation (PSO). For further information on the PSO, please see the link in the left hand navigation.

Air traffic control is provided by the Royal Air Force and fire and airside services by Babcock Defence Services, under contract to the RAF.

The day-to-day operation of the airport has been contracted out to Operon.

The company is responsible for all aspects of the terminal operation from checking in passengers to cleaning and maintaining the building and grounds.

Highland Airways is offering twice daily Monday to Friday flights linking Cardiff with Anglesey. For flight information, please see our Booking your flight page.
