Anglesey Airport is owned and operated by the Isle of Anglesey County Council. Funding for the Cardiff to Anglesey air service, including the operation of Anglesey Airport, is provided by the Welsh Assembly Government through a system called a Public Service Obligation (PSO). Air traffic control is provided by the Royal Air Force and fire and airside services by Babcock Defence Services, under contract to the RAF.
The operator of the route is Isle of Man based Manx2 which operates flights using a 19 seat Dornier 228 aircraft. Bookings are being taken on -line at www.manx2.com
The day-to-day operation of the airport has been contracted out to Europa.
The company is responsible for all aspects of the terminal operation from checking in passengers to cleaning and maintaining the building and grounds.
All partners are committed to delivering a first class service to passengers between Cardiff and Anglesey.
